I am going to South Africa and need camera that is easy to use and takes good long distance pics.? - fujifilm quick snap waterproof

You need pictures at a rapid rate, that is to take 7 or 8 pictures in quick succession and achieving good quality photos in different lighting conditions. I recommended and Fujifilm FinePix S6500fd Canon A720si. Has anyone an opinion on one of these cameras.

If you are in South Africa and have the opportunity to go to a national park or a safari, then you need a zoom lens as possible. For this reason I would not recommend the A720 ... 6x zoom, probably not enough for what you need to have been published between the two rooms, I would go for the Fuji S6500fd under 10x zoom.

However, if I could make another suggestion, if you is around ~ $ 250 (I suspect that, to this base price in the last two rooms is), also proposes to consider the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8. 7.2 megapixels, 12x optical zoom, screen images of 7 to 3 frames per second, and the lens is built in image stabilization for use in low light shots.

Another reason I recommend this device is the storage you use. The Fuji uses xD cards which are used by some companies, I believe that only Fuji and Olympus? - So if you are an existing camera, you must remove the memory card to another. The Panasonic uses Secure Digital (SD), are growing in popularityRM-Flash memory cards in digital cameras today, so if you to another house, your chances of getting into the situation, the memory card into the device, which would be higher, reuse, if you have one that uses SD.

I gave a link to the DMC-FZ8 Specifications in my sources.

To Panasonic - FZ20 and, depending on your budget ...
If you are short, a second hand-FZ5 can be for $ 150-160 on eBay and found that perfectly suit your needs!

Certainly the Canon. He has more optical zoom (digital zoom is pretty useless if you do not like the bad quality) and image stabilization.

Make sure to use the right card to a charger.
